Description: Major refurbishment of existing Williams Road pump station, including the demolition of the existing structure and construction of a new concrete pump station and discharge structure. Construction included soil densification and structural timber piles. See photo.

RIVERSIDE LANDING HOUSING COOPERATIVE, VANCOUVER
Owner: Riverside Landing Housing Cooperative 
Description: Replacement of individual water mains in a Cooperative housing complex of 58 units. This included replacement of individual water service connections with new HDPE lines and new internal PRV's, complete with upgraded plumbing. Installation of a new PRV box complete with 500m of new HDPE 50mm lines to 75mm water-mains was included. Additional work included some sanitary line repairs, complete with clean outs and manhole installations. See photo.

Construction of  200m long by 1.6m diameter tunnel, with installation of 900mm diameter PVC sewer pipe, and placement of cellular concrete in the annular space between the pipe and the tunnel liner.

1997   HATZIC SLOUGH SUPPLY MAIN, MISSION
Owner: Fraser River Regional District
Description: A 1050 diameter, 1km long steel pipe was pulled across the Fraser River in Mission during harsh winter conditions. Work included dredging a 900m long trench across the Fraser, 500m of open trench land installation and installing a below grade concrete valve chamber.  See photo.

Description: Construction of a100kW irrigation pump station (caissons method) adjacent to the Fraser River, with a 91m long, 1220mm diameter intake pipe going into the river. Completion of related works to provide irrigation for the cranberry fields.

Description: Placement of concrete at the front of the Cariboo Dam and installation of a tarp wall to isolate the "concrete water" from the rest of the reservoir. See photo.
     
    WOODLANDS/SUNSHINE WATER SYSTEM, NORTH VANCOUVER

Description: Installed approximately 5.5km of pipe, 300mm and 200mm diameter, along the shores of Indian Arm. Work included the installation of two concrete PRV chambers and an approximately 500m long, 250mm diameter underwater main. 66% slope in many areas.

1989   GULF VIEW WYND STORM SEWER OUTFALL & IMPROVEMENTS, DELTA
Owner: The Corporation of Delta
Description: Installation of a 450mm diameter steel pipe for a storm sewer between the US and Canadian borders. Installation of a 600m storm outfall, a concrete outfall structure, and a storm and sanitary main. Highlights included descending 70m on a 50 plus degree slope and the installation of a concrete dissipation chamber. Maximum slope 87.33%.
