Who We Are
Founded in British Columbia in 1987 by Gianfranco Merletti, Merletti Construction is a privately owned company that has grown progressively since its incorporation in 1999.
We are active in all aspects of civil engineering work in the public sector with a particular focus on pump stations, trenchless pipe installations, tunnels, pipelines, and marine and creek work. Clients include the Government of Canada, the British Columbia Provincial Government, Metro Vancouver, First Nations, municipalities, and private organizations.
Merletti Construction has developed a reputation for the successful and timely completion of a wide variety of diverse and challenging civil engineering projects, including environmentally sensitive undertakings. The company has a professional management team who oversees daily operations from project commencement to completion, and a stable, permanent workforce.
Merletti has a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Program, with a special focus on confined space entry and monitoring procedures, and is dedicated to providing a safe working environment for their staff and the community.
Merletti Construction is a registered 
BC Hydro Civil Contractor.
Our Team
Gianfranco Merletti, President, has extensive local and international construction experience in the water and waste water industry.
Alex Merletti, Vice President, has a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering and brings a wealth of experience and understanding of the construction industry, both at the field and management levels.
Robert Merletti, Vice President, has a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. He has extensive experience in project management, mechanical systems, and a wide-ranging knowledge of the construction industry.
