112th ST Culvert Replacement, Delta

Owner: City of Delta
Description
: Replacement of 20m of an existing 1200mm diameter CSP culvert drainage pipe with new 1500mm diameter sanitary pipe complete with new MSE headwalls. The work required sheet piling and dewatering to insulate the working area of ditch and ground water in an environmental sensitive area.

 




No. 2 Road Box Culvert Repair, Richmond

Owner: City of Richmond
Description
: Demolition and removal of 50m of existing concrete box storm culvert and replacement with new concrete box culvert sections. Well pointing, sheet piling, and water treatment were implemented.

 




Storm Sewer Box Culvert Replacement  No. 2 Rd, Richmond

Owner: City of Richmond
Description
: Demolition and removal of collapsed existing box culverts, and supply and installation of ten new 3m x 1.5m culverts complete with 1050mm diameter access manhole and storm sewer connections.

Description
: Construction of the Thain Creek replacement concrete culvert, open channel drainage, and landscaping work, all under strict environmental guidelines.

 




Dollarton Highway, North Vancouver

Consultant: InterCAD Services Ltd.
Description: Construction of 360m of trunk storm sewer, an outfall structure, shoreline works, 210m of watermain, erosion and sediment control, and related works.

 





Cypress/Hollyburn Sewer Link, West Vancouver

Owner: Ministry of Environment, Lands & Parks
Consultant: UMA Engineering Ltd.
Description: Connection of a 200mm diameter sewer line in a 10m vertical section.

 





Gulf View Wynd Storm Sewer Outfall & Improvements, Delta

Owner: The Corporation of Delta
Consultants: Aplin & Martin Engineering Ltd.
Description: Installation of a 450mm diameter steel pipe for a storm sewer between the US and Canadian borders. Installation of a 600m storm outfall, a concrete outfall structure, and a storm and sanitary main. Highlights included descending 70m on a 50 plus degree slope and the installation of a concrete dissipation chamber. Maximum slope 87.33%.
